ARG HAS 642,909 SUBSCRIBERS
YEREVAN, July 9. / ARKA /. Some 642,909 households and industrial
enterprises were connected to the gas-supplying network in Armenia
as of July 1 , ArmRosGazprom (ARG) natural gas distributing company
says on its official site.
The number of gas consumers rose by 4,358 over the last six months
of this year. Of them, 748 were connected to the network in June.
ArmRosGazprom is the only importer and distributor of Russian gas in
Armenia through Georgia.
The company was established in 1997. Russian Gazprom holds 80% of the
company's shares, and the remaining 20% belong to Armenian government.
