YEREVAN, JULY 10, ARMENPRESS: The Armenian tourist agencies suspended
providing services to Egypt. Armenpress was reported about it by
the representatives of several Armenian tourist agencies, noting
that because of the events taking place recently in Egypt, they do
not advise the citizens to spend their rest in that country. ~SIf
there are people who want to leave for Egypt, we do not refuse them
categorically but advise them to give up the decision to visit Egypt
in this period~T, - said the representative of one of the tourist
agencies. The Yerevan-Sharm el-Sheikh direct flights have also been
    suspended.

In early July the situation in Egypt was destabilized. The President
Mohamed Morsi was removed from the position by the Army Command on
July 3 and isolated from its environment and moved to the Ministry of
Defense. Later it was found out that Morsi and his supporters were
detained and taken to the Security Service building. The Chairman
of the Constitutional Court of Egypt temporarily assumed the duties
of the president of the country.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Armenia advises the
Armenian citizens not to visit Egypt without strict necessity taking
into consideration the events in that country. The Armenian citizens
who are in Egypt are advised to avoid the places of mass gatherings
and in case of a problem connect the Armenian embassy in Cairo where
a shift is set with the following phone number ~V 202 27374157.

By July 3 more than 400 citizens of the Republic of Armenia had been
in Egypt, a part of which has dual citizenship. It is not known who
    are tourists among them
