The small-to-medium business is of a certain importance for the
steadfast economic growth of a country, as it gives innovational
impulses to the economy. Armenpress News Agency highly appreciates
the significant role the small-to-medium business plays; each week
Armenpress introduces business stories regarding various branches
of economy. This time the project is dedicated to the story of a
pedagogue, the founder-director of the innovative youth center in
Sevan Anush Badalyan, who advises the newcomers not to be afraid of
implementing new ideas.
YEREVAN, JULY 11, ARMENPRESS: The 40-year-old Anush Badalyan founded a
center on the area of her former house in Sevan, which is an innovation
for the resort town. The financing was provided by her brother living
in Russia Husik Badalyan. "When we began constructing the building,
we had not yet known what to found there.
But as the time passed, we understood that in Sevan there is not a
place, a center, where children can come and spend their time there",
- remembers Anush Badalyan.
The opening of the center took place in September 2012. There is a
primary school, a cafeteria and a children playing hall at the center.
Alcohol and smoking are prohibited at the cafeteria. The center is
for children under the age of 14 and a sports gym and a beauty salon
were equipped for the adults.
Anush Badalyan educates the 4-6-year-old pupils of the center in
accordance with the methods of the Mkhitar Sebastatsi Educational
Complex. The center is attended by 20-25 children. The education is
paid but affordable. The Sevan people, as stated by Anush, began
understanding the advantages of the paid quality education. The
children are provided with food, stationary at the center.
The founder-director of the center Anush Badalyan, having 11 employees,
notes that it is very easy to start a business in our country, but it
is very difficult to develop and stabilize it. "The taxes and duties
are many and complicated", - said Badalyan. The pedagogue advises
the newcomers not to be afraid of implementing new ideas.
On April 5 2013 Anush Badalyan was rewarded with the "Best woman
benefactor" award in the framework of the Armenia's Prime Minister
Awards "Best Businesswoman 2013".
