Monaco fc sets 6 million euros for Ozbilis, a conflict arises between
agent and Kuban FC
YEREVAN, July 13./ARKA/. Monaco FC set 6 million euros to sing
Armenian midfielder and Kuban FC player Aras Ozbilis, said Dmitry
Selyuk, an agent and 50-percent owner of the transfer rights of the
player.
`The situation is the following: both, Kuban president Oleg Mkrtchan
and I have equal transfer rights of the player. The situation reminds
that of Mkhitaryan and Shakhtar Donetsk.'
Oleg Mkrtchan partially owned transfer rights for Mkhitaryan as well.
Shakhtar administration was acting in accordance with the agreements
with Mkrtchan. Now we have the same situation, but Oleg behaves not
appropriately, as making some agreements with Monaco he didn't keep me
updated and aware, ITARR TASS quoted Selyuk as saying.
When Ozbilis arrived in Kuban, an agreement was reached that if anyone
will offer 6 million euros, the player will be able to transfer.
`In accordance with the contract, Mkrtchan should either process
Ozbilis' transfer, for instance, to Monaco, or pay money to the other
side and give it the rights for the player. I proposed to Mkrtchan
some other option- either we pay him 3 million, or he pays us, but
he doesn't want anything, and he is not working to solve this problem.
Now Ozbilis can't have me as his agent, however, he has told me he
feels upset about this situation. At the same time, he wants to
transfer to Monaco,' he noted.
Selyuk also said there is some other club besides Monaco which intends
to buy Ozbilis and pay even higher, but at the moment he can't say
what club it is.
Earlier, Armenian Football Association President Ruben Hayrapetyan
also said Ozbilis had conflict with Kuban administration as he met
with bloggers and social media activists on 20 June.
According to Hayrapetyan, after playing pretty effectively for the
club, Aras and his agent decided to require higher salary two years
prior to the contract expiration. But it resulted in the bench.
Last year, 23-year-old Ozbilis played 22 matches (16 in a start squad)
in the Russian Premier League and scored nine goals. - 0-
