UKRAINE SELLS 14 BTS-5B ARMORED RECOVERY VEHICLES TO AZERBAIJAN

Ukraine sold 14 BTS-5B armored recovery vehicles to Azerbaijan in
2012. APA reports quoting "Unian" that this was reflected in the
report of Ukrainian State Service of Export Control.
BTS-5B universal multipurpose recovery vehicle is designed for
technical supply of divisions of tanks and armored vehicles. This
vehicle is used for rescue works, backing up damaged equipment and
transportation of spare parts and tools. It was set up on the chassis
of T-72 tanks, according to News.Az.
Ukraine sold 99 units of T-72 tanks to Ethiopia and 10 units to
Sudan, 48 units of BTR-4 and 11 units of BTR-80 to Iraq, 62 units
of BTR-3E1 to Thailand, 10 units of BTR-60PB and 9 units of BTR-70
armored transporters to Bulgaria last year.
Ukraine sold 137 portable anti-aircraft missile complexes to the U.S.
and 193 missiles to Israel last year.
