RUSSIAN STATE-RUN TELEVISION BLOCKS ACCESS TO SCANDALOUS VIDEO FOR ARMENIA USERS

YEREVAN. - All-Russia State Television and Radio Broadcasting Company
(VGTRK) blocked for Armenian citizens access to scandalous video
telling about the court hearings on Hrachya Harutyunyan's case.
After the article by Armenian News-NEWS.am about humiliating attitude
of VGTRK towards defendant Hrachya Harutyunyan wes posted, the access
to the video was blocked for users from Armenia. "The video is banned
for the region Armenia" reads inscription on the video report.
It is not clear whether it is reasonable to block the video which was
on the air not only of Russia 1 and Russia 24 channels, but also RTR
Planeta, international version of state-run television which is also
broadcasted in Armenia
