TERRORISTS FORGING NEWS TO MAINTAIN FORCES IN SYRIA, IRAN AMBASSADOR

Damascus, July 15, IRNA - Iran's Ambassador to Damascus Mohammadreza
Raouf Sheibani said terrorists disseminate false news to raise the
spirits of their armed groups in Syria.
He made the comment while talking to IRNA on the recent rumors saying
that a large number of terrorists are presently arriving in Syria
simultaneous with the victories of the Syrian army.
He said spreading such news are aimed at promoting the spirits of
the terrorist groups in face of army victories.
The ambassador said though such news always existed since the
beginning of the crisis in Syria, the recent ones were mainly a
propaganda warfare.
He further noted that according to the Syrian officials, a large
number of armed forces have started surrendering to the government
following the recent victories of the Syrian army.
Referring to Iran's stands regarding developments in Syria, he said
the Islamic Republic of Iran has always stood besides the Syrian
nation because it believes in the diplomatic solutions to the crisis.
He voiced Irans readiness to hold dialogue with different political
groups active both in and out of Syria with the objective of holding
all-inclusive and broad conversation to achieve a joint national
agreement and materialize the nation's demands.
