Karabakh war veterans have held a sit-down protest in Yerevan's
Freedom Square for a week.
They demand a revision of the Law on Homeland-Defender Status, the
freedom-fighter Volodya Avetisyan told http://www.pastinfo.am.
A number of Karabakh war veterans will meet with Armenia's Premier
Tigran Sargsyan at 6:00pm.
"If the freedom-fighters do not see any results after the meeting,
they will continue their struggle," Avetisyan said.
Some of the protesters are on a hunger-strike. Colonel Khachik
Avetisyan has been on a hunger-strike for four days.
Asked about his health, he said, "Still alive."
