NATURAL GAS PRICE WAS ARTIFICIALLY RAISED IN ARMENIA - EX-PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATE
July 19, 2013 | 12:26
YEREVAN. - The price of natural gas was artificially raised in Armenia
so that the cost of living may increase 1.5 times in the country.
Political scientist, former presidential candidate Andreas Ghukasyan
stated the aforesaid during a press conference on Friday.
Speaking about the causes of this rise, he noted that consumption
and collected taxes reduce when residents emigrate.
"In this way, they are restoring the damage which emigration causes
to the criminal oligarchic system," Ghukasyan argued.
To note, the price of natural gas being supplied to Armenia increased
on July 7.
