Armenian defense minister instructs to correctly organize events
toward preventing extraordinary incidents in army

Along the lines of the collaboration between the armed forces of
Armenia and the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic (NKR), the Armenian Defense
Minister-Affiliated Board session was held in NKR capital city
Stepanakert on Saturday.
Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan chaired the event.
In his remarks, Ohanyan reflected on the military collegium, which is
held in Stepanakert, and noted that it is exclusive not solely because
of its location, but in terms of exchanging knowhow and deepening
cooperation between the armed forces of the two Armenian republics.
Ohanyan presented the ongoing geopolitical and regional developments
and underscored the need to improve and raise the effectiveness of the
ongoing processes in the defense system.
Also, the defense minister's order was read, according to which
several military servicemen, who had stood out during the 2013 winter
study phase, had earned awards.
In closing, Seyran Ohanyan highlighted the need to raise the
effectiveness of the combat-readiness processes, improve the education
activities, and to correctly and decisively organize the events toward
preventing extraordinary incidents in the army.
