The Legal Affairs Council of Yerevan's Municipality conferred on
Tuesday evening to discuss the Municipality's recent decision to
raise the public transport fare in Yerevan from 100 AMD to 150 AMD.
Own sources have told ArmInfo that the conference has ended in
nothing. The conferees were at variance as to whether to revise the
decision or not. The debates ended in a clash, with those opposing
the revision leaving the hall.
As was reported earlier, following mass protests against the rise,
Yerevan's Mayor decided to revise the decision and to reduce the fare
from 150 AMD to 120 AMD.
