YEREVAN, JULY 23, ARMENPRESS: Armenian tennis development foundation
will activate its work seeking to use Armenian factor in international
tennis. "Armenpress" was informed about this from the vise president
of the foundation Robert Janibekyan. He mentioned that the foundation
had been founded lately but had managed to sign cooperation agreement
with Spanish tennis federation.
Besides, the President of the Armenian tennis development foundation
Yuri Lazarian will soon leave for USA where he will attend US Open and
hold negotiations with US tennis representatives of Armenian origin -
Andre Agassi, Sargis Sargsyan and other people.
Janibekyan mentioned that links have been established with Belarusian
partners who conduct one month lasting classes for Armenian tennis
players and it is planned that Armenian athletes will hold trainings
in Belarus in winter which will give opportunity to decrease their
after-season stop and prolong the preparation period.
