YEREVAN'S COMMUNAL ADMINISTRATIONS EXERT PRESSURE ON ACTIVISTS PROTESTING AGAINST RISE IN PUBLIC TRANSPORT FARE IN THE CITY

Yerevan's communal administrations have started to pressure the
activists protesting against the rise in public transport fare in
the city.
Activist David Harutyunyan told journalists on Wednesday that earlier
in the day a group of employees of the Shengavit administration beat a
young girl who was distributing leaflets at a bus stop and was urging
people not to pay 150 AMD.
On Tuesday evening a group of bus line owners and YerevanTrans
employees used force in order to prevent a protest action in the
center of Yerevan.
