YOUNG PEOPLE HOLD OVERNIGHT PROTEST IN FRONT OF YEREVAN MUNICIPALITY

Despite the fact that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margryan suspended his
decision raising fares in Yerevan, dozens of young people are holding
a sit-down protest in front of the Yerevan Municipality and plan to
spend the night there.
The activists explained the rules of the sit-down protest.
Particularly, clashes with law-enforcers and hard drinks are banned.
David Sanasaryan and Anahit Bakhshya, members of the Hello, Yerevan
bloc, are present as well.
The protesters demand that Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan be held
responsible for making an illegal decision and suspending it later.
They also demand dismissal of Head of the Transport Department, Yerevan
Municipality, Henrik Navasardyan and Director of the YerevanTrans
company Misak Hambartsumyan.
