HAYPOST BRANCH OFFICE OPENED IN SEVAN OF ARMENIA
YEREVAN, July 26. /ARKA/. A branch and a modernized post office
of Haypost (Armenian Post) opened Thursday in the town of Sevan,
Gegharkunik of Armenia.
The new branch office is fully repaired, re-branded and modernized
with security systems and recording devices. The staffs of the branch
office are about 50 people.
The renewed office uses up-to-date information technologies and
innovative programs and it has online connection with the headoffice.
General director of Haypost Trust Management B.V. (trust manager of
the company) Juan Pablo Gechijyan said the fleet of Sevan branch of
Haypost has now six more Renault and Daewoo cars equipped with GPS
to increase the service level and promptness by 40%. The new cars
were obtained with support from La Poste French national post operator.
Gechijyan also said that about 60 post offices are expected to be
modernized across Armenia by the end of the year, 8 of them in Yerevan.
The next modernized branch will be launched in Artashat of Ararat
region, then in Spitak, Gechijyan told reporters.
During the opening ceremony Post-market catalogue was presented
with 1,777 products from some 27 partner companies. Customers can
order products from the catalogue in any of Haypost offices. Books
at reasonable prices are also included on the catalogue, he said.
Haypost is Armenia's national post operator. It has 900 branch offices
