LEVON ARONYAN PLACES SECOND IN FIDE RANKING LIST

YEREVAN, JUNE 1, ARMENPRESS: The best chess player of the Republic
of Armenia and the Triple Olympic champion in chess Levon Aronyan
preserves his second place in the FIDE ranking list.
As reported by Armenpress, the official FIDE website presents the
new ranking list, where Levon Aronyan places the second with 2813
points. The first horizontal belongs to Magnus Carlsen. The Norwegian
has 2864 points. In comparison with the previous month Magnus Carlsen
has lost 4 points. The third place is occupied by the former world
champion Vladimir Kramnik with 2803 points.
The FIDE top 100 ranking list includes other Armenian chess players
as well: Sergey Movsisyan is on the 48th place with 2699 points
and Vladimir Hakobyan is on the 55th horizontal with 2691 points,
as well as Gabriel Sargsyan - 72nd place with 2671 points.
