HAIL HARMS CROPS IN FIVE ARMENIAN REGIONS
YEREVAN, June 4. /ARKA/. Monday's hailstorm damaged crops and gardens
in a number of Armenia towns and villages, the country's ministry of
emergencies reported.
Hail was reported in Shirak, Aragatsotn, Lori and Kotayk regions
of Armenia.
Particularly, the hail affected Aghin, Haykadzor, Sarnaghbyur, Sarakap,
Lernakert, Bagravan, Lanjik, Dzitankov, Jrap, Akko, Getap, Mastara,
Shoghakn, Aghnidzor, Teghnik villages and Charentasavan town.
On the same day hail damaged crops in Tavush, Chinchin, Ptghavan,
Zorakan, Lchkadzor and Haghtanak villages, as well as Noyemberyan
and Berd towns.
Some 4,280 shots were reported from anti-hail installations in
Aragatsotn region. -0--
