The most popular Armenian rock band Dorians represents Armenia
in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest, with the song Lonely Planet,
written by Tony Iommi, the guitarist and songwriter of Black Sabbath,
and Armenian lyricist Vardan Zadoyan.
Yerevan, Armenia - The 2013 Eurovision representatives from Armenia,
the "relaxed rockers" of the band Dorians, decided to thank their
fans and supporters by inviting them to a free open air concert on
their return to Yerevan. Last Saturday, this event was finally held
in the Cascade Complex of the Armenian capital, and as it coincided
with International Children's Day, the band's very youngest fans were
especially welcomed.
The members of the band Dorians were overwhelmed by the amount of
support they received by messages and videos during their stay in
Malmo, especially when they qualified for the Grand Final of the 2013
Eurovision Song Contest. Therefore, they decided to invite everyone
to a free concert last Saturday - you can see some impressions in
our gallery below:

After the concert, the band members - Gor Sujyan, Gagas, Arman
Pahlevanyan, Arman Jalalyan and Edgar Sahakyan - said that the concert
was amazing and they gained tons of positive energy when the whole
crowd was singing along to their Eurovision entry, Lonely Planet,
and their biggest hit, Yes Kulam.
Before singing Lonely Planet, Gor Sujyan especially thanked Tony Iommi
from Black Sabbath for co-writing the music of the song, as well as
Ian Gillan from Deep Purple and Serj Tankian from System Of A Down
for supporting their bid in the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
