AZERBAIJAN SENDS NOTE TO SPAIN OVER MONTSERRAT CABALLE VISIT TO NAGORNO KARABAKH

The Azerbaijani Embassy in Spain delivered a note of protest to the
country's Foreign Ministry in connection with Montserrat Caballe's
trip to Nagorno Karabakh, APA reports.
The embassy also said after it was announced in May that Montserrat
Caballe will give concerts in Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh, the
embassy's representatives contacted her managers and administrators
and informed them about the possible results of the visit. In response,
the singer's manager had said Caballe would only visit Yerevan.
On June 4 Montserrat Caballe had a meeting with the President of the
Nagorno Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan within the framework of her
trip to Artsakh.
Also, she visited places of interest and churches in Nagorno Karabakh.
