ARMENIAN TOUR OPERATORS LEARN DETAILS OF DUBAI TRAVEL MANAGEMENT FROM INTERNATIONAL EXPERTS
YEREVAN, June 6. /ARKA/. International experts on tourism in Dubai
presented offers and tour terms and conditions for the popular tourist
destination to Armenian tour operators.
Among participants in the seminar were EET Destination Management,
Fly Dubai air company, Kerzner International with Atlantis and One&Only
hotel chain.
The founder and general director of ART-TOUR Moscow-based company,
leader in tours to Dubai, Dmitry Arutiunov was the moderator of
the seminar.
The event is held to help professionals sell tours to Dubai, Director
of representation of department of tourism and commercial marketing
of the government of Dubai in Russia, CIS and Baltic countries Sergey
Kanaev said.
Kanaev noted increased number of flights by Fly Dubai will lead to
greater number of Armenian tourists visiting Dubai.
Fly Dubai air company will increase its Dubai-Yerevan-Dubai flight
frequency form four to six days per week as from June 23.
The seminar was held under the Dubai government approved program of
tourism development. According to the program, the number of tourists
visiting Dubai should reach 20 million people by 2020.
A record high number of tourists, 10 million, visited Dubai last year,
of them 14,000 were from Armenia.
Various valuable prizes, including Swiss watches, air tickets to
Dubai and tours were raffled out after the seminar. -0-
