Elman Abdullayev: `Serzh Sargsyan's statement on Azerbaijan is of
populist nature'

`Narrow thinking of Yerevan has led Armenia to such a situation that
the country is standing apart from the regional development'
`The statement of Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan on Azerbaijan is
of populist nature and has been made under the order of
ultranationalists,' spokesman for Azerbaijan's Foreign Ministry Elman
Abdullayev told journalists, APA reports.
`I wonder which experts' opinions Sargsyan cites to. The experts who
have led the country to such a situation? Making such statements on
Azerbaijan, the leading state of the region, the Armenian President
forgets that today his people in a distressful position. Narrow
thinking of Yerevan has led Armenia to such a situation that the
country standing apart from the regional development. Perhaps, this
irritates the Armenian President. He doesn't know how to justify all
his sins to the Armenian people'.
Elman Abdullayev said that the empty words about the modernization of
the country's economy are one thing and the development of economy for
the welfare of people is quite another thing: `The gap between the
development of Azerbaijan and Armenia has increased incredibly.'
Armenian media outlets report that in his speech at the meeting of the
National Security Council, President Sargsyan said that Azerbaijan
will face fiasco.
