Denmark coach Morten Olsen has said that tonight's humbling by
unfancied Armenia could be the worst night of his career.
The Danes were trounced 4-0 in Copenhagen to leave their hopes of
qualifying for next year's World Cup in bits.
"I have no great analysis to offer," said Olsen. "The only thing
I will say is that it is 100% my responsibility. There's no doubt
about that. This is incomprehensible. It is arguably very close to
being the worst night of my career."
Denmark now find themselves four points behind second-placed Bulgaria
in Group B and Olsen now doubts that they can reach Brazil 2014.
"After this I do not think we are fighting to be at a World Cup,"
he said. "There was great optimism before the game and we had
opportunities but, after this match, I can't really see it.
Realistically, it will be difficult."
Italy lead the group by four points ahead of Bulgaria.
