ARMENIAN DEPUTY THINKS ALIYEV REALIZED HE CANNOT CHANGE ANYTHING BY WAR

YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS: In Azerbaijani foreign policy changes
have taken place. Ilham Aliyev realized that he cannot change anything
by war. Such opinion expressed Mher Shahgeldyan from "Rule of Law"
party during the press conference. In his words maybe the reason is
the coming elections that Aliyev stopped threatening.
Shahgeldyan did not consider realistic the opportunity of providing gas
to Armenia by Azerbaijan. "We must pay attention to the circumstance
that Aliyev made that declaration not in Europe but in the session
of their party," he said.
"Armenia today is in more stable and peaceful situation and we must
be able to make "dividends" from our position in the region," said
the deputy, reports "Armenpress". He added that Armenia should lead
active foreign policy and that policy must be balanced.
