    KINDERGARTEN IN YEREVAN TO BE REPAIRED DUE TO SUPPORT OF ARMENIAN SINGER SIBIL

    YEREVAN, JUNE 13, ARMENPRESS. The hall of No 101 kindergarten of
    Yerevan will be repaired due to the assistance of Armenian singer
    from Constantinople Sibil Pektorosoglu. The Information and Public
    Relations Department of the Yerevan Municipality informed "Armenpress"
    that according to the Head of the General Education Department of
    the Yerevan Municipality Gayane Soghomonyan, on the singer's wish
    the choice fell on a kindergarten from the list of the Nor Nork
    administrative region. The decision was made taking into consideration
    the conditions of the building and its attendance.

    The prominent singer, who has paid a visit to Yerevan and visited
    No 101 Kindergarten, stated: "I have decided to support them to the
    extent of my abilities. I love children even more than music.

    And taking into consideration everything, I have decided to take care
    about the restoration of the kindergarten's hall." Yet in September,
    2012 the famous singer organized charity sale of heralbum titled
    "Sibil" targeting to grant all the funds raised to one of the
    kindergartens in Yerevan.

    There are 230 children attending the abovementioned kindergarten.

    In 2010 this singer released an album titled "Sibil", where some
    Armenian songs, including "Ter Voghormya", "Cilicia", "Letter"
    are included.

    "Letter" is a poem by renowned Armenian writer Hovhannes Shiraz. It
    was also released as a video and attracted thousands of Turkish and
    Armenian fans, Turkey's leading private music TV channels as well
    as the country's state-run TRT broadcaster have broken new ground in
    airing an Armenian music video on popular stations for the first time
    in Turkey's modern history. "Namag" (Letter) by Pektorosoglu, has been
    gaining mainstream popularity and can now be heard echoing from shops
    along Istanbul's iconic Istiklal Avenue. The music video was produced
    by one of Turkey's most famous directors in the field, Ozkan Aksular.
