`Narekatsi' arts festival is starting

YEREVAN, JUNE 15, ARMENPRESS: In chamber music house after Komitas on
June 15 starts `Narekatsi' arts festival. `Armenpress'
reports that the festival has been organized by `Narekatsi' arts union
and `Melos' company.
The festival cooperating with best artists living in Armenia has the
aim not only to present Armenian high level music and arts but also
try overcome several legal, administrative issues of the culture
sphere which are barriers for free expression of art lovers. This
way creating corresponding field will at the same time be favorable
for development and self-expression of Armenian culture. During
the eight day lasting festival will be presented spiritual, classic,
academic Armenian national music and jazz. Parallel to the concert
will be shown works of Armenian talented painters.
In the concert will take part authoritative and famous names as Vahan
Artsruni, Arthur Avanesov, Mary Dolmazyan, Astghik
Vardanyan, Luisne Grigoryan, Levon Arakelyan, Vahagn Hayrapetyan. All
concerts will take place in chamber music house
after Komitas.
