CIVIL SOCIETY MUST UNITE TO SOLVE MIGRATION PROBLEM - HERITAGE

YEREVAN. - The problem of emigration from Armenia is not a social,
but political. People emigrate because of the lack of justice, Vice
Chairman of the opposition Heritage party Armen Martirosyan said
during the Monday press conference.
"It is unclear why some accuse the opposition, in particular Heritage
party, of emigration. Instead of helping the party solve this problem,
some people are criticizing our actions," Martirosyan said.
According to him, the Armenian authorities have only one task: to
increase their own wealth. The authorities do not have any concept
whether Armenia will become a tourist spot or an industrial country,
as nothing is done to develop either the first or the second idea.
"They only thing they do is developing the mining industry," politician
said. "The solution is to bring together civil society, so that it
will be possible to achieve change of regime, political and economic
system and achieve development."
