NKR HAS ABOUT 3,000 JOB SEEKERS AS OF 1 JUNE, MINISTRY SAYS
STEPANAKERT, June 19./ARKA/. As of 1 June 2013, some 3,079 individuals
are looking for a job in the Nagorno-Karabakh republic, NKR Ministry
of Labor and Social Affairs said adding 2,955 of them are women.
According to the source, some 2,822 individuals or 91.7% of the job
seekers were concluded to be unemployed. The registered unemployed are
mostly residing in Stepanakert, the capital of NKR-over 2,517 people.
Smallest number of the unemployed are residing in Askeran region of
Karabakh -47 people.
The number of unemployed in the republic slashed by 292 from the
analogical period of 2012.
Out of 2,822 unemployed people, 367 receive unemployment allowance,
292 of them are women.
The number of people who receive unemployment allowances rose by 6
from a year earlier.
"As of 1 June 2013, 84 individuals have been employed,
71 of them were women. This number fell by 63 from a
