DEFENDERS OF V.KHACHIKYAN CASE DID NOT COME TO THE HEARING

The court hearing of the case of former head of State Social Security
Service Vazgen Khachikyan and others at Yerevan Ajapnyak and Davtashen
Court of First Instance, presided by Judge Mkhitar Papoyan, did
not take place and was postponed until June 27. The cause of the
postponement was the absence of defenders Andranik Abajyan, Hrant
Ananyan, Hovik Arsenyan, Yervand Varosyan and Lusine Sahakyan.
It was planned to continue the interrogation of the witnesses. It
was also planned to discuss the transfer of the trail to Yerevan
Kentron and Norq Marash court building. The participants of the trial
complain that the court room of Ajapnyak and Davtashen is large and
the audibility is poor.
