STAYING AT SHAKHTAR WOULD BE BETTER FOR MKHITARYAN - UKRAINE FORMER ASSISTANT COACH
June 20, 2013
I believe the Shakhtar management wants to keep Mkhitaryan, Ukrainian
national football squad former assistant manager Vadym Yevtushenko
noted.
The Ukrainian specialist reflected on the news concerning Armenian
national team and Ukraine's FC Shakhtar Donetsk attacking midfielder
Henrikh Mkhitaryan's possible transfer to England's Liverpool FC.
"[Brazil international] Fernandinho's loss was considerable for
Shakhtar. If the team loses yet another leading player, Shakhtar will
have serious problems. [But] if a lot of money is paid for Mkhitaryan,
the club will not turn down such offer.
"Henrikh wants to leave; but I think it would be better for Mkhitaryan
if he stay at Shakhtar. If he stays, he will become a higher-quality
player one year later," Sport Express in Ukraine quotes Yevtushenko
as saying.
