YEREVAN. - The disabled, who are registered at a polyclinic in Armenian
capital city Yerevan's Davtashen District, may receive their medication
at half price solely from the pharmacies that operate within a chain
store, Zhamanak daily reports.
"[But] the prices [in these pharmacies] are much more expensive than
in other pharmacies that operate in the area.
It turns out that businessman MP Samvel Aleksanyan-or rather his
wife, who is the actual proprietor [of this chain store]-also has
the monopoly of the state-provided medication for the disabled in
Davtashen," Zhamanak writes.
