FORMER EMPLOYEES OF ARMAVIA AIR CARRIER DEMAND BAGHDASAROV TO SELL PERSONAL PROPERTY TO COVER DEBTS

    Friday, June 21, 17:00

Former employees of Armavia air carrier demand the owner Mikhail
Baghdasarov to sell his personal property to cover debts.

To recall, Armavia national air carrier has launched a bankruptcy
procedure without paying areas of wages. The company's staff has
already held several protest actions demanding wages.

Armavia national air carrier has launched bankruptcy procedure and
stopped flights due to debts. In the autumn of 2012 Sukhoi Civil
Aircrafts reported that Armavia's dept for exploitation of SSJ-100
is over $4 million. Armavia's shareholders are MIKA LTD - 34.99%
and Aviafin LLC - 65.01%. Bagdasarov set up Armavia in 1996 and sold
it to Russian S7. In 2005 pressured by the Armenian tax authorities,
S7 gave the company back to Bagdasarov. It was the first to exploit
SSJ-100. Armavia carried out over 100 flights to over 40 destinations
    in 20 countries.
