ARA PAPYAN: ARMENIA SHOULD EXPRESS OFFICIAL POSITION ON RUSSIA'S SALE OF ARMS TO AZERBAIJAN

Director of Modus Vivendi center, political scientist Ara Papyan
condemns Russia's sale of arms to Azerbaijan, saying that Russia
should not have done so because it is Armenia's ally.
According to him, Armenia should express official position on it,
saying that the move is unacceptable and that an allied country should
not act like this.
"Our ally arms our enemy. Armenia should condemn it officially,"
Mr Papyan told reporters.
Armenia is rather loyal to its ally, which sometimes results in
economic losses, according to the analyst.
He added that Russia should know that Armenia always has an alternative
and that Armenia is in vulnerable position due to the lack of any
alternative.
