ARMENIAN FM: BALL IS IN TURKISH COURT
June 24, 2013 | 18:36
Turkey-Armenia normalization is an initiative launched by Yerevan,
Foreign Minsiter Edward Nalbadnian said during the PACE summer session.
Answering questions of the delegates, he recalled that after very
long and difficult process of negotiations, Armenia and Turkey came
to agreement and signed protocols in 2009.
"Unfortunately, Turkish side rejected to ratify and implement the
agreement without preconditions," he said. "Our position is the same
as that expressed by the international community, including member
states of Council of Europe, Russia and the U.S.: the ball is in
Turkish court."
He added now it is up to Turkey to ratify and implement the agreement.
