168 HOURS: INVESTIGATION OF NAIRIT CASE MAY BE STOPPED

Materials regarding embezzlement in Nairit Plant CJSC are being
prepared by the Main Investigation Department of Armenian Police and
more information about the results will be provided later. This was
the response of the police press service to the question of '168 Hours'
paper: When will the investigation of Nairit case end?
According to the paper's sources, the investigators received
instructions from the respective circles to stop the criminal case on
some pretext. "It is no accident that the names of several Armenian
officials are mentioned in connection with the Nairit case and
scandalous arrests may be made in case of an objective investigation,"
the paper notes.
