POLITICAL SCIENTIST: ARMENIA CAN NEUTRALIZE DANGER COMING FROM AZERBAIJAN

Azerbaijan has not reached such a level in the arms race that Armenia
would follow suit - Azerbaijan still follows us, the political
scientist Levon Melik-Shahnazarian said at the meeting with reporters
today, when commenting on the sale of Russian arms to Azerbaijan.
He underlined the necessity of reacting not only in cases of arms sale
to Azerbaijan by Russia, but also when Belarus and Ukraine do that.
"Armenia has the opportunity to neutralize any danger coming from
Azerbaijan," Melik-Shahnazarian noted.
As regards Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev's words that the war
is not over yet and the second stage starts, the political scientist
said that Alieyev makes such statements about ten times a year.
"The man attended a military parade ... he was to say something. It is
noteworthy that this time the parade coincided with the day of Baku's
fall, one of the most disgraceful days in Azerbaijan's history,"
Levon Melik-Shahnazarian said.
