Although Armenia displays military hardware and demonstrative flights
every year, the move also aims to prove something to Azerbaijan.
"We also need to prove something to ourselves. The race is perceived
in other spheres as well, including information, psychological and
others. We are arming ourselves in all spheres and in this context
we are cooperating with other countries, besides Russia," says said
military expert David Jamalyan.
In his turn, political analyst Levon Melik-Shahnazaryan, said the
proper Armenia uses its military potential, the better for the country
and its people.
"We have been able to get different types of weapons, modify and
strengthen them, which has surprised even the creators of those
weapons," he said.
The political analyst says we had better put an emphasis on the quality
of our weaponry and improve it all the time. Also scientists should
be invited to develop the military industry.
