YEREVAN, JUNE 27, ARMENPRESS: The Minister of Culture of the Republic
of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan had a meeting with the Minister of Culture
and Monument Protection of Georgia Guram Odisharia. As reported by
Armenpress, quoting the Press Service of the Ministry of Culture
and Monument Protection of Georgia, the meeting was organized in
the framework of the first Conference of Ministers of Culture of the
Eastern Partnership countries, held in Tbilisi.
By the data provided by the Ministry of Culture and Monument Protection
of Georgia, during the meeting the interlocutors discussed the
agreement signed between the Ministries of Culture of Armenia and
Georgia on January 17 2013, which provides for the cooperation in
the field of culture between the two countries in 2013-2015.
The Minister of Culture of the Republic of Armenia Hasmik Poghosyan
and the Minister of Culture and Monument Protection of Georgia Guram
Odisharia also touched upon the current state of the Armenian monuments
located in the territory of Georgia and the Georgian monuments located
in the territory of the Republic ofArmenia.
