SWISS CONDUCTOR CLIMBS MOUNT ARAGATS

YEREVAN. - The Swiss conductor from Lucerne Theater Michael Wendeberg
climbed Mount Aragats located in Armenia, Aravot newspaper reported.
Together with the artists of the Yerevan Opera House Shmavon Grigoryan
and Vigen Harutyunyan, he climbed the lowest top of the mountain the
height of which is 3,879 meters.
Swiss conductor said he had studied the geography of the Armenian
Highlands as a student when he became friends with Shmavon Grigoryan
during university years.
