Archaeological committee expressed positive conclusion on 23 new
applications of excavations presented in Armenia

YEREVAN, JUNE 29, ARMENPRESS. The excavations realized in Armenia in
2012 recorded a high level meeting the requirements of modern
archaeological methods. The Ministry of Culture of the Republic of
Armenia informs "Armenpress" about this.
During a session of archeological committee in the Ministry of Culture
of the Republic of Armenia, from 59 allowances given in 2012 reports
on excavations of 28 archaeological monuments were discussed. The
reports were introduced by "Erebuni MuseumReserve" State
non-commercial organization, National Academy of Sciences Institute of
Archaeology and Ethnography State non commercial organization,
"Scientific Research Center of Historical and Cultural Heritage" State
non-commercial organization, `Ethnos' ethno-cultural scientific
research center NGO, `Service for theProtection of Historical
Environment and Cultural Museum Reservations' State non-commercial
organization, Shirak Armenological Research Center of the RA National
Academy of Sciences.
The committee also discussed the 23 new applications received in 2013
and gave a positive conclusion.
