25TH ANNIVERSARY OF SUMGAIT TRAGEDY COMMEMORATED IN BRUSSELS

The Armenian National Committee of Belgium and "Hayasa" Student Union
held an act of protest in front of the Azerbaijani Embassy in the
Kingdom of Belgium in memory of the victims of the Sumgait massacre.
The participants rallied to the cross-stone raised in memory of the
Armenian Genocide victims in one of the central squares of Brussels.
Armenian Ambassador to Brussels Avet Adonts and the head of Armenia's
Permanent Mission in NATO Armen Yedigaryan laid wreaths at the
cross-stone.
A liturgy will be served at the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene in
Brussels dedicated to the 25th anniversary of the Sumgait tragedy
