Police reveal details of assault on Yerevan exchange office

YEREVAN.- Armenia's police revealed new details on Friday's assault on
exchange office in Yerevan.
The suspect, an employee of bank security service, Shahen G. (1979)
was detained by police officers on Friday evening.
The man confessed to an assault. On Friday he entered the exchange
office wearing a mask, closed the door and jumped over glass barrier.
The thief escaped, stealing about $3,000 (AMD 1, 200,000). He managed
to run away only for 500 meters and was seized by police. The
investigation is underway.
