Azerbaijani hysteria on Artsakh's participation in international
tourism exhibition in Milan gave no results

YEREVAN, MARCH 2, ARMENPRESS. An international tourism exhibition was
held in Milan, Italy on February 14-17. This year the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic participated apart from Armenia for the first time - exciting
books, videos, wine, brandy and other stuff. The Nagorno Karabakh
delegation consisted of 4 members headed by Sergey Shahverdyan - Head
of the Historical Environment Protection and Tourism Department of the
Government Sergey Shahverdyan.
"Pyunik" information center in Milan told "Armenpress" that the
Azerbaijani pavilion was near to the pavilion of the Nagorno Karabakh
Republic. This time, too, the Azerbaijanis yielded to self-deception
in order to "justify" their own loss being unable to ignore the fact
that Nagorno Karabakh has its own pavilion and introduces itself to
the world as an independent unit. Few hours after the exhibition
opened one of the representatives of Azerbaijan approached the Nagorno
Karabakh pavilion and arrogantly declared that Nagorno Karabakh having
a separate pavilion is a violation of international legal norms. He
demanded on leaving the pavilion and stopping distribution of leaflets
about Artsakh. They also intruded the pavilion during the night and
stole booklets and a big poster with inscription "Nagorno Karabakh".
The Chief Security Official called Kochukyan and Shahverdyan to his
office, where four Azerbaijanis were waiting for them. They introduced
a number of absurd statements and when the Chief Security Official
realizing the absurdity of the Azerbaijanis' claims and their
behavior, said that they had chosen a wrong place for holding such
discussions. Moreover, continuation of this kind of behavior may
become a reason to deprive Azerbaijan of a chance to introduce a
pavilion in the next exhibition.
