Lonely Planet will please Europeans' ears, says Armenian singer

Pop singer Hayko, who has formerly represented Armenia at Eurovision,
is very positive on this year's song's success at the pan-European
contest.
Speaking to Tert.am, the singer noted that Lonely Planet, to be
performed by Gor Sujyan and his band Dorians, will be to the European
community's taste.
`I think Gor Sujyan's performance will be very good. That song has
energy inside, and I think the European community will like it a lot,'
he said.
Asked whether Lonely Planet responds to Eurovision's new trends, Hayko
said, `It is my belief that we may be mistaken in case we follow the
Eurovision trends. Gor is one of those musicians who are also
brilliant vocalists, and if they go to Eurovision with the musical
piece they wish, that will be a victory for us.'
Hayko, who participated in Eurovision in 2007, thinks he did his job
well then, making his song, Any Time You Need, serve its purpose. `So
it is now time for an artist to go and bring victory to Armenia,' he
said.
Lonely Planet was selected through a live SMS voting and a 50/50 jury
on the Armenian Public Television on Saturday night.
The other four songs presented for the contest were Lying, Toy Planet
and No time.
