Armenia and Nagorno Karabakh.
The President of the World Federation of Tourist Guide Associations
Felicitas Wressnig, the special guest of the exhibition, familiarized
herself with the possibility of establishing a guide training regional
center in Armenia.
As Ms Wressnig told March 2 press briefing jointly with the head of
department of tourism and territorial economic department Mekhak
Apresyan, it will take WFTGA Board of Directors about 8 weeks to come
up with proposals and take a final decision.
`The initiative aims to train guides in line with international
standards,' she said, adding that local experts, as well as students
from different countries will be enrolled in the center.
Mr Apresyan further noted that the center will boost Armenia's image
