Students demand YSU rector's aide Gevorg Melkonyan's resignation (videos)

Student of Yerevan State University's International Relations Faculty
Vazgen Galstyan has declared a strike today.
Speaking to Tert.am, the fourth-year student said the strike will last
from 10 am till 7 pm every day. He said his step is addressed toward
improvement of the quality of education in the YSU.
In parallel to it a small number of students, 15-20, continue
boycotting classes since last week.
Today they were demanding resignation of aide to the YSU rector Gevorg
Melkonyan.
During the boycott last week Melkonyan told at the presence of the
police, `bring the troops forward, and bring the Akhalkalakis
forward.' A number of Facebook users, YSU lecturers demanded
explanations from the Education and Science Minister and YSU rector
and punish people who abused the power.
Gevorg Melkonyan was permanently demanding the striking students
leave. Today he was not in front of the YSU central building as he
usually was.
