YEREVAN. - Opposition Heritage party is working with all political
forces in Armenia, and if Raffi Hovannisian met with the president
Serzh Sargsyan, then why not to meet with the leader of Prosperous
Armenia Gagik Tsarukyan, given that the party has second biggest
representation in the parliament, the spokesperson of the former
presidential candidate and head of Heritage party Raffi Hovannisian
said.
Hovsep Khurshudyan refused to give any details of the meeting during a
press conference this Monday.
`We declare our readiness to hold political consultations with all
political forces,' Khurshudyan said, noting that he does not rule out
a meeting with members of the Armenian National Congress.
In response to a question about the fact that many members of the
ruling Republican Party of Armenia noted that the Prime Minister and
the Mayor of Yerevan, will not respond to Hovannisian's call to come
to the Liberty Square, stressing that Hovannisian's coming to them is
more possible, Khurshudyan said:
`I am not commenting on empty statements. They were invited to
participate in a public record, and in any normal country, such an
invitation would be accepted. In this case, I'm not so sure about it.'
