By the results of audit of Nature Protection Inspection, state budget
did not get about 2 mln drams

Nature Protection Ministry held several audit from 25 February to 3
March, according to the results of which 8 decisions were adopted
about administrative fining with a total sum 500 thsd drams. Moreover,
the damage to the environment was assessed at 5.39 mln drams,
Armenia's Nature Protection Ministry reported.
The cases of illegal sale of whitefish were revealed in Shirak and
Kotayk regions, and the cases of illegal fishing crawfish - in
Gegarkunik region. Different departments of the Inspection also
disclosed the facts of illegal extraction of timber.
In general, by the result of audit, the state budget did not get 1.61 mln drams.
