relations with Armenia. Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan scheduled

Konstantin Zatulin, Director of the Institute of CIS Countries came
forth during Yerevan-Moscow vision bridge on March 12.
''Armenia's President Serzh Sargsyan is set to pay an official visit
to the Russian Federation on March 12. As far as I know the visit
program is rather saturated'' Zatulin stated. The politician considers
important Armenian-Russian relations are in the focus of attention.
We realize Armenia faces difficulties as in one hand it lacks gas,
oil, in the other hand is in a blockade, Armenpress reports.
''Russia wants Armenia to be powerful, reportedly Russia and Armenia
are in friendly relations and need each other'' Andrey Epifantsev,
expert on Caucasus, historian noted. The expert does not anticipate
dramatic changes to be sketched in Armenia's and Russia's relations.
''Armenia and Russia will go on to cooperate closely. Russia would
like to see Armenia both in Eurasian Union, Customs Union, yet Armenia
continues to keep silence'' Epifantsev sums up.
