YEREVAN. - I visited Armenia for the first time about twenty years
ago, and I have always liked your country, the United Kingdom
Ambassador to Armenia, Jonathan James Aves, told Armenian
News-NEWS.am.
`I was in Armenia for the first time in 1991, and I wanted to visit
again every time. There is something special about ancient history,
culture, and the contemporary life of the Armenian people. I really
like being here,' the British diplomat noted.
In his words, even though Armenia is located on the other edge of
Europe, it is a European country.
`We are a part of the shared cultural world,' Ambassador Jonathan
James Aves concluded.
