AZERBAIJAN RUINS ANY DISCUSSION TO RETURN NAGORNO KARABAKH TO NEGOTIATION PROCESS: DAVIT BABAYAN
12:33, 6 March, 2013
YEREVAN, MARCH 6, ARMENPRESS: Nagorno Karabakh expects no tangible
changes regarding the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs visit to the
region, yet any process aimed at assuring peace and stability is
welcomed. The Artsakh Republic President's press secretary Davit
Babayan told Armenpress about this. Among other things he noted:
"In my opinion no turning point will be recorded, as far as no
objective preconditions exist for that. The anti-Armenian fascist
policy continues in Azerbaijan. Expecting either any new suggestions or
changes is too early." In the words of the press secretary the absence
of US permanent Co-Chair should also be taken into consideration. "I
guess the visit of American provisional Co-Chair will be somehow of
cognitive nature. In my opinion there will be no changes in negotiation
process unless the triple is in its full staff," Babayan stated. The
NKR President's press secretary highly estimates any visit aimed
at preserving peace and stability. The interlocutor noted that the
Co-Chairs arrival day to Stepanakert has not been fixed.
